This popular dog is alert, reserved and vocal they can make good watchdogs.
Devoted and loyal to owners whilst remaing independent (likes to be
his own dog).
Good with childre but often frightened of toddlers and babies.

| Coat: | Heavy, long, straight topcoat with a medium undercoat. |
| Grooming: | Sheds no hair but coat may need trimming every few months and hair kept out of eyes. Brush occasionally to avoid tangles. |

Possible
disadvantages .
Intelligent
but slow to train. Can bark a lot. Sometimes needs a firm hand from
the owner, they are dogs that like their own way.Long coat needs daily
brushing.
