Small but feisty, tenacious and corageous.
Popular dog that is intelligent and easy to train, learning commands
quickly..
Good with children and strangers if well socialised.
Very affectionate and loyal.

Possible
disadvantages .
Because
of their small size care should be taken if in the company of small
childre. Can be aggressive towards small animals, and especially cats,
if they are not known to them.
Long coat can contain mud and dirt after walks which may require daily
brushing. Hair may require tying back or cutting to avoid blocking vision.
